Jam Session at Nick's on
Second in Eunice, Feb. 23, 2006
It was only about 8:30 when these photos were
taken during the regular Thursday night jam session at Nick's, but there
was already a large crowd warming up their dancing feet for Mardi Gras.

Friday Night in Downtown Eunice, Feb. 24, 2006
Nick's was already crowded when Travis Matte and
the Zydeco Kingpins started at 9. The photos were taken between 9
and 10, while more and more people squeezed in. That's Todd Ortego,
aka Zydeco Ortego and the Rev. KBON, addressing the crowd in the second
photo from left. In the next photo, female fans dance and wave their
hands to the sounds of the hit song "Vibrator." Meanwhile, outside
Bradley Venable was providing more great Cajun music (shown in the last
